The Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority is completing a feasibility and routing study for the Regional Integrated Loop System Phase 3C Extension Pipeline to connect Sarasota County’s regional transmission system north into Manatee County. Under Work Order No. 2 to an existing professional services agreement, Wade Trim is updating prior analyses to account for the installed Phase 3C pipeline, booster pump upgrades at the Carlton Water Treatment Facility, and revised demand, pressure, and emergency scenarios for the Authority and member governments.The study evaluates pipeline routes and sizing, potential new pumping/trim facilities and locations, and required modifications to existing county and regional facilities, with the goal of shortlisting feasible alignments and determining the optimal point of connection into the Manatee County system. The Board approved Work Order No. 2 on August 6, 2025 for 225,300, Notice to Proceed was issued August 13, 2025, and completion has been delayed from December 2025 to an expected July 2026 due to updated hydraulic modeling from Manatee County.For vendors, this is a precursor to major design, engineering, construction, and equipment procurements for the actual pipeline extension and associated facilities once a preferred alignment and concept are selected from the study.
