Because the building is structurally compromised and shares walls with occupied mixed-use buildings, the City may order the owner to either repair or demolish it after a hearing no earlier than August 5, 2026. If the owner does not act, the City could ultimately arrange demolition or stabilization work and assess costs as a lien, creating a potential need for structural engineering, demolition contractors, and related construction services. Vendors can monitor this case ahead of the hearing and position themselves for either owner-directed or City-directed abatement work once a decision is made.
