This change, to be formalized through an amendment to the Delegation of Authority By-Law, would let Administration offer custom pricing for birthday party packages, multi-facility rentals, shoulder-season ice, and tourism-focused events to increase utilization and revenue. For event organizers, tournament rights holders, and recreation program providers, this signals that Fort Frances will be able to negotiate more flexible venue terms, making it easier to bring new events and programming into Town.Vendors that package tournaments, camps, and sports tourism initiatives can leverage this flexibility to pitch Fort Frances as a host community.
