The City of Lodi is advancing significant infrastructure work along State Highway 60 and Fair Street, including utility improvements and curb ramp/park impacts, funded in part through a $762,000 Sewerage, Water and Electric System Revenue Bond Anticipation Note (Series 2026B) and other borrowings. In May and June 2026 the Council amended the 2026 Public Works Projects Fund to include Highway 60, declared official intent to levy special assessments for the Hwy 60 and Fair Street projects, approved Task Order No. 6 with Town and Country for Highway 60 utility improvements, and passed a resolution concurring with WisDOT’s right‑of‑way acquisition in Doctor’s Park for curb ramp upgrades as part of a 2030 WIS 113/WIS 60 pavement and ADA project. Design is underway with WisDOT leading the highway and ramp work, while the City is responsible for coordinated local utilities and cost share. The main engineering vendor (Town and Country) is already under contract for utility design, and the short‑term revenue note financing is in place, so the primary design award is decided. However, the combination of local utility work, special-assessment-backed street construction, and WisDOT’s 2030 schedule points toward a series of follow‑on procurements for roadway reconstruction, utility installation, traffic control, ADA and park restoration, and potentially public outreach and assessment administration services. Contractors and support consultants can position for the upcoming bid packages and for ancillary services the City may need to manage assessments, resident communication, and construction-phase issues.
