The City of Galt has prioritized a citywide branding initiative in its 2025–2027 Strategic Plan to create a cohesive, strategic brand that supports economic development, tourism, and community engagement. Position Interactive, Inc. was selected after meetings and proposal reviews with multiple agencies to lead an 8–12 month branding engagement covering discovery, brand strategy, visual/ verbal identity, and rollout support.The agreement is a not-to-exceed 120000 general fund contract and includes six months of fractional Creative Director services to guide implementation, plus development of logos for the City and Galt Market, a brand system, and campaign materials for launch. Future budget allocations are anticipated for rebranding physical and operational assets such as vehicles, uniforms, signage, and printed materials, signaling additional downstream purchasing. Two City Council members will also be appointed to a Branding Ad-Hoc Committee, giving vendors clear political and operational points of contact for any follow-on work, integration, or complementary marketing services.

One-time funding comes from General Fund (Fund 001); future appropriations planned for rebranding vehicles, business cards, uniforms, signage, and other materials.
