The CalHHS Alzheimer’s advisory committee will spend a large block of its August 6, 2026 meeting on early detection and screening models, including Dementia Care Aware, NTG tools for adults with I/DD, and the new GUIDE care model. These are programmatic discussions, not procurements, but they signal CalHHS, CDA, CDPH, and DDS interest in scaling screening, care coordination, and provider training for dementia. Vendors in training, digital screening tools, care management platforms, and data/analytics should track outcomes and later recommendations to anticipate future pilots or RFPs.
