The Administration and Finance Director are bringing forward the 2026–2035 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Board review and approval on May 19, 2026 after multiple work sessions. The proposed 10‑year CIP totals 134571014 in planned expenditures, down from about 150.8 million in the prior year’s plan, with most funding derived from operational transfers and a shift to more in‑house road improvement work; equipment and bridges are identified as the top two categories. Once approved, each individual project will still come back to the Commission for funding commitments, bids, and contracts, but the CIP sets priorities and timing for major road, bridge, facility, equipment, and infrastructure investments through 2035. This creates a pipeline of upcoming engineering, construction, IT, fleet, and professional service procurements aligned with the CIP’s schedule.
