A (Active Transportation) includes several new countywide safety and land-use studies with explicit consultant budgets for FY 2028: “Understanding Micromobility Crash Patterns in Miami-Dade County” ($80,000), “Nighttime Vision Zero: Prioritizing Lighting Improvements at High-Injury Locations” ($100,000), “Shaping Safe Streets: How Land Use Influences Vulnerable-User Risk in Miami-Dade” ($100,000), and an “Active Mobility and Accessibility Feasibility Study for Miami-Dade County” focused on seniors ($150,000 in FY 2027). These efforts will analyze crash clusters, typologies, land-use patterns, lighting conditions, and senior mobility needs, and develop recommended safety countermeasures and policy changes aligned with Vision Zero and Safe Streets for All. Safety analytics, planning, and data-science firms can target these as discrete, competitively scoped studies, offering expertise in geospatial crash analysis, Safe System methods, PROWAG/ADA facility evaluation, and policy recommendations.Results will inform future capital projects and grant applications, giving vendors a chance to help shape long-term safety investment strategy in Miami-Dade.

All four studies explicitly reference alignment with Vision Zero, Safe Streets for All, and the Safe System Approach; they can support future SS4A and safety grant applications.
