Together, this represents up to $10 million in federal funding for ZEB purchases over the 2027‑2029 period. The vehicles themselves will be procured under FTA-compliant processes, but the multi-year programming confirms a sustained regional transition to battery- or fuel-cell buses that will carry needs for charging/fueling infrastructure, facility upgrades, workforce training, and fleet management technology. Vendors can engage StanRTA to align vehicle technology options, depot and on-route charging, and software/telemetry with these programmed funds and the agency’s implementation timeline, and can also explore sub-supply opportunities with bus OEMs when formal procurements are issued.
