Since 2021, Kiley & Associates, LLC has provided Lynwood with federal legislative advocacy services, helping identify federal funding opportunities, set legislative priorities, and build relationships with Congress and federal agencies. On June 16, 2026, staff are seeking approval of a second amendment extending this professional services agreement by two years, through June 30, 2028, at an annual cost not to exceed $60,000 as already budgeted in FY 2026–27. While the lobbying contract itself is decided work, the extension underscores Lynwood’s intention to actively pursue federal infrastructure, transportation, housing, public safety, and economic development funding over the next several years., transit, water, broadband, public safety facilities) can coordinate with Kiley & Associates and City staff to shape grant-ready projects and be prepared for RFPs tied to successful appropriations.
