On April 28, 2026 the Board discussed establishing a Fundraising Committee and related Terms of Reference to support a Contents Fundraising campaign for the internal contents of the Town of Bancroft’s new public library and community hub. The draft TR-06 Terms of Reference describe a Contents Fundraising Committee that will lead a campaign for furnishings, equipment, and other interior contents, including a campaign manager, financial officer, and project committee members, and will set timelines, milestones, and progress reporting for funding requirements. Although the resolutions to establish the committee and approve the policy were deferred, the detailed draft terms show an active plan to organize fundraising and campaign management around the contents of the new facility.This creates a near-term need for campaign strategy, donor development, and fundraising tools, and puts vendors of sponsorship-ready furnishings, technology, and equipment in a position to design packages aligned to donor recognition and the campaign structure.
