NTMWD is proceeding with construction of Segment B of the Stover Creek Force Main to increase Upper East Fork Interceptor System wastewater conveyance capacity serving growth in McKinney and Prosper north of US 380. On June 25, 2026, the Board is asked to award a $12,939,441 construction contract for Segment B to McKee Utility Contractors, LLC, along with $1,131,457 for engineering services during construction by Lockwood Andrews & Newnam, Inc. and $1,606,176 budgeted for NTMWD internal inspection services covering Segments A, B, and C over an estimated 28‑month construction period. The overall Stover Creek Force Main totals about 69,000 linear feet of 48-inch main in four segments, ultimately conveying flows to the Sister Grove RWRRF, with Segments A–C prioritized and tied into the McKinney East Side Extension on an interim basis. Although the main construction contract for Segment B is awarded, Segments A and C are scheduled to bid in 2026 and Segment D will be a future project, creating additional pipeline and related services opportunities; there will also be potential follow-on needs for startup, monitoring, and long-term O&M support as the new conveyance comes online.
