Liberty ISD received a construction update covering multiple Liberty High School projects, including veneer and masonry retaining wall repairs, a new baseball field, and work on Annex 2. Veneer and retaining repairs are complete and awaiting final inspection by engineering firm Salas O’Brien, fire escape stairs at the gym are being reinstalled with the area fenced off, and site clearing and initial structures/fencing for the baseball field have begun but may face short-term weather delays; Annex repairs came in under 30000, less than half of the original approval amount. For vendors, this confirms that capital work is active at LHS and that third-party firms like Salas O’Brien are involved in inspection and oversight.While the primary construction contracts appear to be awarded already, there may be follow-on needs for punch-list work, site improvements, athletic field amenities, safety enhancements, and future facility upgrades as the district closes out these projects and reprograms the savings from the Annex repair. Vendors offering athletic facilities, safety/access infrastructure, or building systems can position around supporting successful completion and planning the next phase of improvements.
