Lawson R-XIV School District has adopted a detailed 2026-2027 Career Ladder Plan to provide supplemental pay for teachers who complete approved professional and student-support activities. The plan sets maximum annual supplements of 1000 for a probationary stage, 1500 for Stage I, and 3000 for Stage II, tied to hours logged outside the contract day on tutoring, mentoring, curriculum development, committee work, professional development, technology support, and postsecondary preparation activities.
