Year-to-date through March, speed cameras had generated about 440000 and red light cameras over 700000, and by May red light revenue alone was at 1300000 with additional cameras being installed at Annapolis and Emerson Road. A third program—stop sign cameras—has a finalized contract currently before the Prince George’s County Council, with deployment expected around September after County approval. Tinelli budgeted 1600000 in combined net revenue across red light, speed, and stop sign programs but emphasized conservative estimates. Although the primary system vendors are not named and contracts appear to be in place or nearly finalized, there is ongoing implementation work, data management, and potential integration with police operations and public messaging. Vendors offering back-office processing, data analytics, citation management, or community education around traffic enforcement may find follow-on opportunities, as could firms that support integration with license plate readers and other safety systems already in use.
