For the June 15, 2026 meeting, Public Services requested approval of a proposal from Wightman to provide professional design engineering services for W. Oak Street improvements from S. Eaton to N. Clinton, about 320 feet. The 200 block is experiencing multiple failures: a 1909 sanitary main with joint separation and voids causing surface settlement, an ovalized 15" sewer in the roadway, a deteriorated 8" sanitary under the south sidewalk, and repeated breaks on the existing 4" cast iron water main.
