During the September 6, 2025 semi-annual meeting, the Chair and residents focused heavily on speeding, stop sign violations, unregistered golf carts, and large non-resident crowds, especially around July 4th. The Board noted they had upgraded the security system with new cameras, pedestrian gate swipe cards, and Frontier Wi‑Fi, and that USA Security guards performed well, but community members demanded stronger enforcement, speed monitoring, and surveillance for the coming season and for the 250th U.S. anniversary when July 4th falls on a Saturday. The Chair stated they will be forming a committee to address security for the next Fourth of July and that Public Safety will explore use of speed detection signs and refined post orders for guards. This opens planning for enhanced contracted security services, potential technology such as radar signs or AI-based video tools, and policy/procedure development. Security vendors and public-safety technology providers can engage now to help define the scope, demonstrate solutions, and propose packages tailored to July 4th operations and ongoing neighborhood enforcement support.
