Camrose County’s Municipal Planning Commission reviewed Development Permit DP 26 049 on June 16, 2026 and approved Phase I construction of a multi‑purpose hall for the Lakeside Hope Living church on Lot 2, Block 1, Plan 1624187 (SE-5-47-19-4). The facility will be accessed from Range Road 194, requires stormwater management, a fire pond, private sewage holding tank, on‑site parking, rural addressing, and compliance with Alberta Transportation’s roadside development permit conditions.This approval means the church can now proceed to full building design finalization, permitting, and construction, relying on consultants for civil works, building systems, traffic/access design, and code compliance. Vendors in architecture/engineering, site servicing, construction, building systems, security, AV, and furnishings can pursue subcontract or follow‑on work with the church and its design team, and there may be future phases beyond the initial hall build-out.

Alberta Transportation has already issued a roadside development permit; fire pond location and access approach have been coordinated with Fire Services and Public Works. Parking must remain off Range Road 194, and lighting and stormwater must be managed to avoid impacts to the nearby provincial highway and adjacent residences.
