Budget Ordinance Amendment 2026-10 and Capital Project Amendment 2026-11, adopted June 9, 2026, allocate an additional 105,000 to the Big Rock Stadium Improvements capital project. Of this, 74,000 is transferred from the General Fund (using additional appropriated fund balance) and 31,000 from a cancelled Library door restoration project, to cover additional work including electrical conduit relocation and safety measures so baseball operations can continue during construction. The funding is now in place, but the documents do not identify a contractor for this incremental scope. Construction, electrical, and sports-facility vendors should see this as a near-term opportunity to provide design and installation of conduit relocation, safety barriers, and related improvements at the stadium, or to offer owner’s representation, inspection, or temporary safety systems to support the ongoing construction.
