At the May 19, 2026 meeting, the Public Health Nurse Manager presented a proposal to expand Women’s Health Services in Converse County, covering insured and uninsured clients along with projected revenues and expenditures. The Commissioners approved the expansion as presented, with the program to be incorporated into the proposed FY2027 County budget and implemented without requiring additional budgeted funds. This expansion will increase the scope and volume of women’s health services delivered by the public health department, creating operational needs for clinical supplies, lab services, scheduling and EHR support, patient education materials, and possibly telehealth or outreach tools. Vendors serving public health clinics can engage during FY2027 planning and early implementation to offer cost‑neutral or revenue‑positive solutions that support expanded service delivery under the constraints outlined in the proposal.
