Watertown School District Awards Transportation Contract to D & H Enterprises Inc (August 2026)

$6.06 per certified mile; not to exceed $1.50 per mile for extracurricular trips; not to exceed $57.26 per hour for first hour of in-district extracurricular and field trips; not to exceed $25.13 per hour for driver time after first hour; up to 50% of increased cost of $2,000,000 umbrella liability insurance

General contract term is five years beginning August 1, 2026 and ending on or about July 31, 2031. All monetary items are subject to complete reopening after July 1, 2026, and the Board agrees to pay up to 50% of any increased cost for the required $2,000,000 umbrella liability insurance annually, with 50% of any decrease returned to the District upon request.
