The Township of Severn is entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the County of Simcoe to delegate subdivision and condominium approval authority, including part lot control and deeming applications. The agreement, effective January 1, 2027, will streamline development approvals while preserving County review of County-related interests. A Township by-law will authorize execution of the MOU and trigger corresponding County actions.
