The Montague Police Department is entering into the Handle With Care Memorandum of Understanding with local school districts and the Gill Police Department to provide confidential alerts to schools when children experience traumatic events. The agreement establishes notification processes, privacy protections, and cooperative liability provisions, and continues until terminated with 30 days’ written notice.
