Funding increased for SR 20 fish passage project

The Skagit Council of Governments is recommending an RTIP amendment to increase funding for WSDOT’s SR 20/Childs Creek to Skagit River - Fish Passage project to $26,524,537. The project will remove an existing fish barrier and construct a fish-passable structure, with design and right-of-way in 2026 and construction slated for 2027.
