Safe Routes To School Adds Trailer And Bikes

The Salem Area Safe Routes to School program expanded its equipment inventory with the purchase of a second 20-foot enclosed bicycle trailer and 40 new bikes in July. These assets will support bicycle, pedestrian, and transit safety classes scheduled at multiple schools during the 2026–2027 school year.
