OCWD Seeks 10-Year OCFCD License for Prado Sediment Stockpile

Orange County Water District proposes a 10-year license agreement with the Orange County Flood Control District, paying a one-time $30,000 fee to use OCFCD-owned parcels in the Prado Basin for sediment stockpiling and haul road access in support of its Short-Term Sediment Removal Compliance Project. Under the license OCWD will maintain the sites, implement water-quality BMPs, and restore the properties once its 250,000 cubic yard sediment removal obligation is met and the stockpile is depleted.
