The Maui County Council committee is advancing Resolution 25-46 to authorize settlement of Conservation Council for Hawaiʻi and American Bird Conservancy v. Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. and Maui Electric Company, Ltd. and County of Maui. This action will resolve environmental claims brought by conservation organizations against the utility companies and the County.
