County Launches CMAR Process for New Jail

The Board of Supervisors voted to initiate a construction manager-at-risk selection process and issue a disclosure of intent to enter into a guaranteed maximum price contract for a new Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and jail facility. The County plans to issue an RFQ in early September and, contingent on voter approval of a bond referendum, award the CMAR contract around February 2027.
