Union, MaineDOT partner on Route 17 signal project

The Town of Union entered into a Municipal/State Agreement with the Maine Department of Transportation for safety improvements and traffic signal installation at the intersection of Route 17/131/235, Town House Road, and Sennebec Road. MaineDOT will administer and fund the construction contract, while the Town assumes long-term responsibilities for certain utilities, pedestrian facilities, and shared signal maintenance.
