The Township of Laird maintains an ongoing Town Line Road Agreement with the Township of Tarbutt and Tarbutt Additional to equally share construction and maintenance costs for the boundary Town Line Road, including defined responsibilities for sanding, grading, snow plowing, and ditching. The agreement, authorized by By-law 624-86 in 1986–1987, continues until changed or repealed.
