The City of Fredericksburg ratified the termination of its landfill gas lease with Ameresco Stafford LLC. The Ameresco plant ceased operations in January 2024, and the lease termination allows the Rappahannock Regional Solid Waste Management Board to pursue new opportunities for landfill gas utilization.
