The Town of Germantown used a NYS DEC Community Forest Conservation Grant to purchase a 23-acre forested parcel from Bard College at Maple Avenue and Maple Avenue Extension. The property will be preserved as the Theodore Robinson Community Forest with trails and forestry management to enhance public access and ecological health.
