The Water Resources Board will approve a one-year chemical contract with O-N Minerals (Luttrell) Company d/b/a Carmeuse Lime & Stone, Inc. to supply calcium oxide (quicklime) at $510.90 per ton. The agreement, renewable for up to three additional years, is projected to cost about $570,000 in FY27 for water softening operations.
