Escambia County funds jail-based vocational education MOU

Escambia County, Florida entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with The School Board of Escambia County to support career and technical education for incarcerated adult students at the Escambia County Work Annex from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The County will provide facilities, student care, up to $20,000 for program materials and equipment, up to $7,500 for a part-time testing administrator, and reimburse 50% of one full-time vocational instructor’s salary and benefits.
