Borough To Negotiate MOA With Agdaagux Tribe For Road Project

The Aleutians East Borough Assembly authorized the Mayor to negotiate and execute a Memorandum of Agreement with the Agdaagux Tribe of King Cove for the King Cove to Cold Bay Road. The agreement will define ownership by the Tribe and at least 20 years of Borough maintenance, and will proceed only if the project is funded through the Tribal Transportation Program.
