District Affiliation Agreement With St. John’s University

Huntington Union Free School District is entering into an affiliation agreement with St. John’s University for the placement of fieldwork and student teachers in district schools from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The agreement may be renewed annually by mutual written consent and requires St. John’s to provide insurance coverage naming the district as an additional insured. Board of Education ratification is required before the agreement takes effect.

Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice, but termination is deferred until currently enrolled students complete their placements; no new students may be enrolled after the termination date.
