Calhoun County Commissioners backed the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi’s proposal to rename the 11 Mile Road bridge over I-94 to FireKeepers Way and approve a heritage-focused aesthetics package. The Tribe and/or FireKeepers Casino will cover all associated costs while the County serves as fiscal agent through MDOT.
