KCPD CUAS staging MOU with school district

The Board of Police Commissioners of Kansas City, Missouri entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with North Kansas City School District to host and support Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) equipment at Gateway 6th Grade Center. KCPD will own, fund, and maintain the detection equipment and tripod, while the School District provides roof access, power, and maintenance under a term running through April 20, 2027 with automatic annual renewals.
