The Council approved use of a Sourcewell cooperative contract with Fire Truck Solutions to purchase replacement fire apparatus for the Mesa Fire and Medical Department, in an amount not to exceed $16.9 million. The acquisition includes pumpers, heavy rescue units, and an aerial platform apparatus funded by 2022 and 2024 Public Safety Bonds.
