Rockford, District 205 sign two-year SRO MOU

Rockford Public Schools District No. 205 and the City of Rockford entered into a two-year memorandum of understanding for the City to provide ten school resource officers to district schools. The District will pay up to $2.51 million over the term, plus overtime, for police staffing, benefits, and related supplies under the agreement running from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028.
