The Ulster County Transportation Council approved an amendment to the FFY 2026–2030 Transportation Improvement Program adding NYSDOT PIN 817754, a $6.335 million project to resurface Route 209/55 from Lippman Park to Main Street (CR 27) in Rochester and Wawarsing. The project will be funded through a combination of NHPP and SDF funds, with design in late 2025 and construction and inspection obligations in late 2026.
