Sycamore Public Works has recommended City Council approval to purchase a 2027 Freightliner Single Axle Dump Truck chassis from TransChicago Truck Group under a State of Illinois CMS cooperative contract. The equipment purchase is not to exceed $250,000 and will replace a 1998 dump truck used for utility repairs, snow removal, and infrastructure projects.
