City of Southport is evaluating the repurposing of the Old Courthouse. Two building options for a new Police Department, designed by Moseley Architecture are under consideration. One structure would be a one-story Police Department with 8,600sf with a construction cost of $7,499,554. And the second option was a two-story Police Department with 10,000sf at a cost of $8,862,750
