The Hamden Legislative Council approved an agreement with the Connecticut Department of Agriculture for the 2026 Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. Under the pact, Hamden’s Elderly Services Department will act as the local coordinating agency to distribute electronic benefit cards to eligible seniors through December 31, 2026.
