Sparta Township acknowledged Village Utility LLC’s existing wastewater franchise for the North Village at Sparta while consenting to a proposed transfer of its wastewater facilities and franchise rights to New Jersey-American Water Company, Inc. The transfer will proceed only after Board of Public Utilities approval and adoption of an ordinance amending the franchise agreement.
