October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027, with intent to renew annually via new agreement

Initial one-year inter-local agreement with expressed intent by both parties to renew each year via a new agreement, subject to approval by each governing body. County may adjust annual fees by up to 5% each October 1 with 90 days’ prior notice; if a new agreement is not executed but access continues, Ponder pays at the rate set by the Sheriff and approved by Commissioners Court for the next fiscal year. Either party may terminate with 90 days’ written notice.
