County advances CMS joint purchase salt agreement

The DeWitt County Road and Bridge Committee recommended forwarding a Certificate of Authority to the full board to allow County Engineer Mark Mathon to execute a joint purchase agreement with the Illinois Department of Central Management Services for bulk rock salt under the CMS Joint Purchase Program. The agreement will cover the county’s 2026 season salt needs based on quantities committed in the spring purchase survey.
