The Centre Region Parks and Recreation staff are working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and other partners to implement the externally funded Slab Cabin Run Pollinator Plot and Woodcock Meadow Project at Millbrook Marsh starting in April 2026. The project covers several acres of habitat, with planting, targeted herbicide use, and follow-up treatments coordinated for public safety and minimal disruption.
