The City of Markham awarded Safetek Emergency Vehicles a $1.74 million contract to supply and deliver one pumper rescue apparatus for Fire & Emergency Services, funded primarily through the Corporate Fleet Replacement – Fire capital project. A budget shortfall will be covered from the Life Cycle Replacement and Capital Reserve Fund, with tendering waived due to the specialized nature of the vehicle.
