Description
The Newport School District has entered into a 20-year Solar Group Net Metering Rebate Sales Agreement with Cardinal Landfill Solar, LLC. The district will receive a 10% discount on the utility default service rate for energy generated from 3,900 kW photovoltaic systems. The agreement will auto-renew for two additional five-year terms unless either party notifies the other of non-renewal at least 90 days before contract expiration.
